We collect limited information to operate this site and communicate with club members and visitors:

• Site analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, general location, device type). This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you.
• Contact form submissions: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond to you. This form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA.
• Ride schedule data: Upcoming and past ride information shown on this site is pulled from our club's public Strava group events - we don't collect anything about you personally through this feature.

We don't sell your personal information, and we only share it with the third-party services above (Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, Strava) as needed to operate the site.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

You join and participate in RST - Velo Rochester rides entirely at your own risk. Cycling on public roads and trails carries inherent risks, including but not limited to traffic, road and weather conditions, equipment failure, and the actions of other riders or road users. These risks exist regardless of the precautions taken by ride leaders or other participants.

By joining a club ride, you acknowledge and accept these risks. RST - Velo Rochester, its officers, ride leaders, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in a ride.

Riders are responsible for: riding within their own ability, wearing a helmet, maintaining their bike in safe working condition, following all applicable traffic laws, and carrying any personal identification or medical information they'd want available in an emergency.

Ride leaders may adjust, reroute, or cancel a ride at their discretion for safety reasons. You're free to leave a ride at any time if you feel it's beyond your ability or comfort level.
